Can you print a single strip using snappic?

Yes, you can print single strips! If you have a printer that can print only one strip at a time (like the Primera IP60), you can tick "Single Strip Compatibility" under the Strip 'Configuration tab.'

  • Ensure you have the print server's latest version to see this option.

  • Latest Windows Print Server App Version: 1.2.2

  • Latest Mac Print Server App Version: 0.3

  • The only Printers we know of that support single-strip printing are Mitsubishi, Primera, and HiTi. (If you require a single strip compatibility, we recommend checking the printer support page)

Windows

  1. Click on "Strip Configuration"

  2. Enable the "Single Strip compatibility" option.

Please Note: If your printout does not work the first time with the new update (prints one strip in the middle of a 4x6), then please click the small text under the drop-down that says "clear selected configuration" and then configure your printer settings again and it should work. (*if you are using a DNP, this will not work as a DNP doesn't support single-strip printing)

Mac

  1. Click on "Strip Configuration".

  2. Select "Photobooth Print Server".

  3. Enable the "Single Strip Mode" option and save.
